I'm very excited to present you probably first serious fanart I made. A painting which is focussed more on a story, or an act, rather than landscape itself.
.
My lattest painting was Forsaken Castle (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/n0anAE) which has also a little story revolving around witcher world. It was just a simple idea for a side quest for Wild Hunt game. Nothing serious.
.
But then I got an idea. What if I'd go deeper into it. Make it more interesting? The vision came!
.
So I made this! And because my ideas weren't ending, I made also fake cover, which I can use as example for commissions. And because that's not all, here is synopsys:
.
"When a Witcher finally crossed the river and landed on shore, stepped on land, he got warmth welcome from a big spider in a form of fast attack.
Later he deduced, the reason of the attack was probably because the spider was working on his new nest and felt threathen.
And because when picking the quest he were told the forest around Forsaken Castle is very dangerous and haunted, just shortly after spider's attack he heard that something is closing to him. Even if he wasn't sure what he can expect, he was preparing for a fight.
As the silhouette was appearing sharper and sharper, the similarity to Leshen came to his mind. But he was noticing of a few differences from what he was used to see on his journeys. This monster was looking almost like Leshen but with goat's horns and wooden mask. And that strange dark and powerful aura he saw around..., 'What is that thing?'."
.
Please, let me know what you think, how you like it, and what you say about how detailed I made the character! And would you be interested in more of the story?
